]]>Stay tuned for some upcoming info on Book two.
]]>If you would like to support the book, of course the first and best thing you can do is just buy it. After that, reading it would be awesome! Writing a great review on Amazon.com would be even better, and best of all, telling all your friends about it, and getting them to read it too.
I’m really looking forward to seeing how it does, and hearing feedback from people. I should probably add a link to my email on the page somewhere, but in the mean time, you can contact me at richard.a.windle@gmail.com.
Thanks for reading!
]]>As far as this blog, I’m planning to post as often as I can. If there’s no new book news, I might just post about stuff going on in my life, or talk about writing in general. It’s funny, I always considered myself a complete amateur, and while that’s still basically true, after writing my author bio I realized I am starting to get some experience, and it might be fun to share that.
On to the book news: As I said, I’m in the final stages of getting my first book published on the Kindle, and it is stressing me out. First, as I was reading through the information I had downloaded and read two months ago originally, I learned/remembered that there would a be a two day delay while Amazon checked to make sure everything is okay with my work (no copyrighted or offensive material), which kind of stinks. I had hoped it would be available today, Saturday. On top of that, the optimal cover image dimensions I picked up from somewhere turned out to be wrong. Good thing I read the Kindle help files before publishing. So I sent a frantic email off to Jon (Jonathan Braucher, cover image designer, website designer, all around good guy) and he graciously offered to re-size the image.
Even with these delays though, it’s kind of hard to believe that it’s all finally happening. I’ll post again when I upload everything to Kindle, and then again when the book is actually available.
